Bruce-Weber - a Journey Around the World for 2 Violins/cello

'The World Tour' has emerged from the practical work with a budding children's orchestra. The collection consists of both well-known songs and songs from the children's home countries. It is suitable as a first introduction into chamber music playing. By using different techniques (pizzicato con sordino solo and tutti) a colourful string orchestra setting is created which forms a beautiful sound image for a children's orchestra. To enable the children to grasp the melodic parts as songs the song text has been added whenever possible.
