The book contains 15 original repertoire pieces for the total novice which, when accompanied by appealing and highly engaging piano parts, sound as a whole very worthy of being 'listened to'. The aim of the book is to provide a platform for beginner bassists in order to help develop confidence in their playing.
Listen to Me! book 2 naturally follows on from book 1 and gradually introduces the following: slurs; more string crossing; double stopping and more advanced rhythms, hwilst remaining faithful to the philosopy of book 1.
