Today, Edward Elgar is mainly known as composer, but apart from this work he also gave violin lessons. This edition contains six short studies by Edward Elgar, all ascending in difficulty and didactically valuable.
They can be played in the first position, but require the knowledge of all fingering patterns. The compositions are set in C major, A minor and G major with occasional alterations.
